Robert Lewandowski has officially confirmed his departure from Barcelona at the end of the season, leaving the club as a free agent and opening the door for Milan and Juventus to make their moves for the Polish striker.
The 37-year-old announced the news via a video on his personal social media channels, with Barcelona responding warmly on their own platforms.
“He arrived as a star. He leaves as a legend,” the club wrote, celebrating a four-year spell that produced 119 goals and 24 assists in 191 appearances. Lewandowski won three La Liga titles, one Copa del Rey and a Spanish Super Cup during his time in Catalonia.
In his own message, Lewandowski was emotional.
“After four years full of challenges and hard work, the time has come to turn the page,” he wrote. “I leave with the feeling of having completed my mission. I will never forget the affection I received from the fans from my very first days. Catalonia is my place in the world.”

Sunday’s home match against Betis will be his final Camp Nou appearance.
With his contract expiring in June, both Milan and Juventus had already been monitoring the situation closely, and now that his departure is confirmed, the race to sign one of world football’s most decorated strikers as a free agent begins in earnest.
