Sipho Chaine now holds the record for the most clean sheets in a single PSL season, with his numbers also looking better than keepers plying their trade in some of the biggest leagues in the world.
Orlando Pirates coach Abdeslam Ouaddou said that he was proud of the shot-stopper and that he is doing a fantastic job. Now, the numbers - especially when compared to top keepers around Europe - firmly back that up.

Chaine recorded his 19th clean sheet of the season as he helped his side secure a comprehensive 3-0 victory over Magesi FC over the weekend. So far this season, the 29-year-old has conceded just 12 goals in 28 league appearances as his side push for silverware.
Having been able to do it in just 28 appearances is quite special, especially when considering that someone like David Raya, who currently has the most clean sheets in the Premier League, has 18 from 36 matches.
The Spaniard is followed closely by Gianluigi Donnarumma with 14 in 32, and Dean Henderson, who has managed to keep 11 clean sheets in 34 appearances.
It's even more impressive when Chaine's achievement is compared to players in the Spanish top flight. FC Barcelona star Joan Garcia has managed to keep the ball out of the net on 15 occasions, while Thibaut Courtois and David Soria are behind him with 11 clean sheets.
Serie A, meanwhile, boasts Jean Butez, who has featured 36 times for Como 1907 this season while keeping 18 clean sheets. Narrowly behind him is Mile Svilar with 16, while Yann Sommer has managed 15 in 32 appearances.

Over in Germany, Gregor Kobel leads the race for the Golden Glove, with 14 clean sheets in 33 appearances for Borussia Dortmund. Borussia Monchengladbach's Moritz Nicolas is second with 12 in 33, while VfB Stuttgart shot-stopper Alexander Nubel has recorded 11 games without conceding.
Looking at the achievements of keepers from across the top leagues in Europe, it shows that Chaine's achievement this season is nothing to be snuffed at.
