Four players of Nigerian descent at Crawley Town have now found out whether they will stay at the League Two club or leave after the retained and released list was announced on Wednesday, May 13.
Former Reading U18 captain Akin Odimayo is among the players retained, with the centre-back having a valid contract with the Red Devils until June 30, 2027.
In the recently concluded season, he made nineteen appearances in all competitions including eight starts.
Crawley Town have exercised their option to extend the contract of winger Ade Adeyemo.
After spells with Fisher, Beckenham Town, Hayes & Yeading United and Cray Valley Paper Mills, Ade Adeyemo joined Crawley Town F.C. in the summer of 2023.
The 27-year-old has since registered seven goals and six assists in 96 appearances for the League Two club.
Tobi Adeyemo has returned to parent Watford following the conclusion of his loan spell.
