Kaizer Chiefs are going to face AmaZulu FC on Saturday after having already qualified for next season's CAF Confederation Cup, and right-back Reeve Frosler said it will be difficult to stay motivated in the last two games.

Speaking to the Chiefs media on Thursday afternoon, Frosler said that their main aim was to finish in the Top Three, and since they have achieved that, they are on the right track.

"No, it's going to be difficult to stay motivated. I mean, our aim was to get into their top one, two and three. We managed to successfully do that now, so it is a little bit more challenging. But I think, us staying professionals, we've got to go out there and still do the job. The more games we win, the better position for the club, and the better we can start our next phase of things," Frosler observed.

Frosler further added that they want to win the remaining two games so they equal their record of 57 points in 2020 when they lost the league title on the last day to Mamelodi Sundowns.

"It's a good building block for us. I mean, we haven't reached that amount of points in the last five years, six years. So if we could win these next two games, take us to 57, and then we're on par with what almost got us the league the last time. And now we know what's at stake for next season, we can get a few points more and hopefully going to be even better, higher up on the log," he said.

In conclusion, Frosler said that the players are having fun at training and that the energy has been good.

"I think the energy in the training sessions have been good. I mean, the guys are still having fun at work, which is important. We're having fun. And we're still working towards our next game, which is important. So yeah, the energy has been good. And yeah, we are looking to just continue this energy and go forward to the next game. We just got to continue doing what we need to do.

“And how we've practiced, how we've prepared the whole week, stick to our guns and go out there. Yes, we know they're going to come out because they are fighting for their own position on the log, so it is not going to be easy. They’re going to come fighting, firing, ready for it and we’ve just gonna have to stick to what we need to do and what we’ve practiced all week and implement that on Saturday afternoon," Frosler said.

Asked for a message to the team’s supporters, the Gqeberha-born defender concluded, “Just come out in your numbers and it is always nice to be out there in KZN. You guys always pull through with your numbers and we love your support. Continue supporting us for the last two games and we highly appreciate your support.”

Amakhosi will face AmaZulu FC at the Moses Mabhida Stadium on Saturday at 15h00.
