Hands off Broos, says Chiefs coach

Kaizer Chiefs co-coach Cedric Kaze has called for the easing of pressure on Bafana Bafana coach Hugo Broos over the selection - or rather non-selection - of Brandon Petersen in the national team.
Petersen has kept an impressive 15 clean sheets from his 24 appearances this season, leading from the back, a side that finished third on the Betway Premiership log table.
His latest Man of the Match award-winning performance came in a 1-0 win over AmaZulu on Saturday.

Those efforts have not gone unnoticed by Bafana Bafana head coach Hugo Broos, who is expected to name his final World Cup squad on 27 May.
Although there have been major calls for the selection of Petersen for Bafana's World Cup squad, Kaze has called for calm and insisted that the Belgian mentor be given the freedom to choose as he pleases.
"I don’t want to comment on the call-up or not call up because we are going to know soon enough, and a national team coach (Broos) is an experienced coach that knows what he wants for his team," Kaze told journalists
"And as well, we need to let him choose the players that he wants in a very transparent way.
"I just wish to see Brandon Petersen going to the World Cup because he deserves it by the qualities that he has shown, as well as the consistency that he has shown throughout the season."
Should Broos select Petersen, he would have to drop one of either Ronwen Williams, Sipho Chaine, or Ricardo Goss, with the latter looking like the most likely casualty.

Domestically, Petersen is likely in contention for the Betway Premiership Goalkeeper of the Season award but will face stiff competition from Mamelodi Sundowns' Ronwen Williams and Orlando Pirates' Sipho Chaine.
Before that, Beezer will aim to end the season with a win when Chiefs take on Chippa United at Moses Mabhida Stadium on Saturday.
