Hearts of Oak Sporting Club has confirmed it is working toward an amicable resolution in its ongoing legal and contractual dispute with former Technical Director Ren Hiddink, stressing its commitment to professionalism and institutional stability.

In an official statement, the club said it remains focused on resolving the matter in a respectful and constructive manner, assuring supporters, partners, and stakeholders of its continued efforts to bring the issue to a peaceful conclusion.

According to the club, its legal team has already submitted a formal settlement proposal to Hiddinks representatives following recent engagements between both parties, including discussions held in court.

The proposal, management explained, is intended to secure a fair and responsible outcome that serves the interests of all involved.

Hearts of Oak emphasized that the initiative reflects its broader objective of safeguarding the long-term reputation and stability of the club.

It also acknowledged recent reports and alleged leaked communications attributed to Hiddink, describing them as unfortunate and capable of fueling public speculation.

However, the club noted that it would refrain from public commentary that could jeopardize ongoing efforts toward an amicable settlement. It maintained that throughout the process, it has acted in good faith, transparency, and with respect for due process.

The statement further indicated that the club is awaiting a formal response from Hiddink and his legal representatives regarding the proposed settlement. In the meantime, management has urged supporters to remain calm as negotiations continue.

The Board expressed optimism that the issue would be resolved as quickly and amicably as possible, reiterating its commitment to unity, stability, and long-term success.

The dispute is one of several off-field challenges the Ghanaian giants have faced in recent seasons, though club officials insist their focus remains on rebuilding and sustained progress.
