Gift Links enjoyed a weekend to remember after helping AGF Aarhus clinch the Danish SuperLiga title before leading the club's jubilant championship celebrations in style.
The Bafana Bafana hopeful continues to elevate his reputation in Europe, and his latest achievement comes just days after earning a nomination for the prestigious 2025/26 Danish SuperLiga Player of the Season award.
AGF Aarhus sealed the league crown with one match remaining after securing a convincing 2-0 victory over Brøndby IF on Sunday, confirming themselves as champions following a dominant campaign in Denmark's top flight.
Links played a decisive role in the title-clinching encounter, providing the assist for AGF's opening goal as the club moved onto an unassailable 64 points after 31 matches.
The Rustenburg-born attacker has been one of AGF's standout performers throughout the season, combining pace, creativity and consistency in a campaign that has firmly placed him among the league's elite players. And once the final whistle sounded, the celebrations quickly belonged to the South African star.
Links emerged as one of the central figures during the post-match festivities at Brøndby's home ground, grabbing attention in a glittering gold party blazer as he celebrated the historic triumph alongside teammates and travelling supporters.

The achievement also places Links among an exclusive group of South African players to have lifted Denmark's top-flight trophy.
Former FC Copenhagen striker Sibusiso Zuma famously won the Danish SuperLiga during his successful spell abroad, while Bafana Bafana legend Siyabonga Nomvethe also captured the title with Aalborg BK in the 2007/08 season.
Links has made 37 appearances across all competitions this season, contributing five goals and seven assists in what has arguably been the finest campaign of his European career so far.
With silverware secured, individual accolades within reach and growing calls for a bigger role in the national team setup, Gift Links' stock continues to rise both on and off the pitch.
