Medeama SC lead league table by two points with two matches remaining

Medeama Sporting Club need to hold on for two more games to potentially become champions of the 2025/26 Ghana Premier League season.

The Yellow and Mauves have been one of the best teams in the current campaign and deservedly sit top of the league table.After Week 32, the team from Tarkwa has accumulated 57 points and leads the team in second place, Gold Stars, by two points.Ahead of the last two matchdays, the two teams cannot leave anything to chance.

Medeama SC will need to win both matches against Heart of Lions and Hearts of Oak to clinch the league title.On the other hand, Gold Stars will play against Dreams FC and Eleven Wonders, fixtures many believe are easier to win compared to the opposition the league leaders have to deal with.At the end of Week 32, Hearts of Oak and Asante Kotoko occupy the third and fourth places in the Ghana Premier League standings.Bechem United, Basake Holy Stars, Swedru All Blacks, Heart of Lions, Young Apostles, Vision FC, and Nations FC are all fighting to escape relegation at the end of the season.Check out the current Ghana Premier League standings below.
