Morocco’s football federation said Wednesday it will hold its ordinary and extraordinary general assemblies on June 5 at the Mohammed VI Football Complex in Maamora, as the country accelerates preparations for a series of major continental and international tournaments.
The Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF) said delegates will review and approve the federation’s moral and financial reports during the annual meeting, while an extraordinary session will focus on proposed amendments to the federation’s statutes.
The legal changes are expected to align the federation’s governance framework with evolving international requirements and tournament regulations as Morocco prepares to host the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations and co-host the 2030 FIFA World Cup alongside Spain and Portugal.
The meeting comes amid continued expansion of Moroccan football infrastructure and governance under FRMF president Fouzi Lekjaa, whose administration has overseen major investments in training facilities, stadium modernization and national team development in recent years.
Representatives of clubs, regional leagues and professional football bodies are expected to attend the assembly to discuss the federation’s roadmap for the coming period.
