Morocco’s national football team is set to take on Madagascar during the upcoming international break in June, as part of preparations for upcoming competitions, most notably the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

The Malagasy Football Federation announced that the friendly match will be held at Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium in Rabat. The exact date and kickoff time have yet to be confirmed and are expected to be announced in the coming days.

According to the same source, the fixture forms part of both teams’ preparatory programs for future international tournaments, with a particular focus on the World Cup.

In a separate announcement, the Royal Moroccan Football Federation confirmed that Morocco will also face Norway on June 7, 2026, in another friendly match scheduled to take place at Sports Illustrated Stadium in Harrison, New Jersey, in the United States.

Kickoff is set for 8 p.m. Morocco time, in what will serve as a key test for the national team. The match is expected to give the head coach an opportunity to assess player readiness and help the squad adapt to the climatic and time-zone conditions in North America ahead of the World Cup.

These fixtures are part of Morocco’s broader strategy to fine-tune its squad and build competitive momentum as it gears up for the global tournament.
