Rio Ngumoha equaled Michael Owen’s Liverpool record in the Premier League on Friday night at Aston Villa which the Teds lost 4-2.
Ngumoha is already the youngest player to score for Liverpool in the Premier League following his winner at Newcastle in the second game of the season.
He has now equaled Owen’s record in the penultimate fixture of the season.
The youngster made his 18th Premier League appearance against Aston Villa, the joint-most by a Liverpool player while aged under 18 alongside Owen.

The 17-year-old made just his fourth start but given both his performances and those of some of the so-called senior players, it feels like he could have made more.
He is set to surpass Owen next week in the final day clash with Champions League-chasing.
Meanwhile, Liverpool’s defeat to Aston Villa saw them drop to fifth on 59 points.
