Speaking to the media after their emphatic 3-0 victory over relegation-threatened Magesi FC on Saturday night at the New Peter Mokaba Stadium, Ouaddou emphasised that they are not relying on any favours to clinch the league.
“I think we will retain the last one. We are focused on ourselves. The destiny is between our feet. We just focus on how we want to play, how we want to be organised. You can see a strong Pirates.
“We don't concede goals, we score goals. So, I just ask the boys to focus on how we want to play,” said Ouaddou.
The Moroccan-born coach reinforced his stance that the Buccaneers are solely focused on their own performance and not on how other teams are playing.
“We don’t expect anything from anybody. We are focused on our team. We are really confident about what we want to achieve. We feel strong, and we are going to prepare for the next game with a lot of focus in front of our fans, and we will give everything,” Ouaddou concluded.
