Speaking to journalists after the game, coach Abdeslam Ouaddou credited their success to meticulous preparation and exploiting their opponent's weaknesses.
“I think we won it with a great spirit from the boys. Good organisation, with very good attacking animation,” Ouaddou remarked. “We have studied the team, and we have just used the weaknesses of the team. We started very well in the first half. It was important to score early, you know, because against those kinds of teams, if you don't score early, sometimes it can be difficult to find space, but the guys did the job. I'm very proud of them,” Ouaddou explained.
The Moroccan-born coach shared insights into the team’s halftime adjustments, which were aimed at improving efficiency and making better use of space.
“The second half, let's say at halftime, we just tried to make some adjustments because I felt that we didn't use enough space between the lines and there was a lack of efficiency in the second half. But I think 3-0 is a good score, he said.
Ouaddou praised his squad's determination and reiterated the team's focus on staying consistent as the title race nears its climax.
“We keep building, we keep going forward. I told you at the beginning of the season and the middle of the season that maybe the title would be decided at the end of the season, and it's the case. The whole of Pirates are doing well,” Ouaddou added.
With just two games remaining, the Buccaneers are fully focused, knowing that their title hopes depend on staying sharp and consistent. Ouaddou emphasised the importance of the upcoming fixtures, particularly for the club's loyal supporters.
“We are going to prepare for the next game with a lot of seriousness because it will be very important for our fans. The last two games will be very important for us in the title race,” he concluded.

Orlando Pirates currently sit second on the Betway Premiership League table with 65 points from 28 games. They trail leaders Mamelodi Sundowns, who have played one more match. If both teams win their remaining fixtures, they will finish tied on 71 points. However, Pirates boast a superior goal difference, which could ultimately hand them the coveted title.
The Buccaneers' final two games will see them face Durban City and Orbit College, two critical matches that could define their season and bring the league trophy back to Orlando for the first time in over ten years.
