Western Cape-based ladies’ team Stellies FC will, for the first time, compete in the HollywoodBets Super League this season, and coach Nathan Peskin has said it will be a tough challenge for them.
Talking to the media after the launch of the league on Tuesday at the SABC in Auckland Park, Johannesburg, Peskin said that their girls are young and inexperienced, but they will give their best and compete in the top league.

"Well, we are feeling excited. We're feeling relieved that the league is finally going to start. We're ready to go. We know we're facing some stiff competition. But we're going to do the best that we can with what we've done so far. We're hoping for a good season. And we're certainly going to put our best foot forward," Peskin told the media.
The coach further added that they know they are facing a difficult situation in the HollywoodBets Super League.
"Well, look, it's a difficult situation. I mean, our girls are young. They're inexperienced. We've got an integration of some UCT players who spent a year in the league last year. I don't think that's enough, though. So for us, it's take one game at a time. Learn as much as you can from those games , and really, you've got to be working very hard and work as a team to achieve small goals one step at a time," Peskin concluded.
