According to reports, Serie A stars Mike Maignan, Marcus Thuram, Adrien Rabiot and Manu Koné will be in the France squad for the 2026 World Cup, but many others miss out.
Coach Didier Deschamps is set to announce his final list for the upcoming tournament, which will be co-hosted by the USA, Canada and Mexico next month.
RMC Sport have drawn up what they maintain is the squad for the competition, including four Serie A players.
They are Milan goalkeeper Maignan, Inter striker Thuram, Milan midfielder Rabiot, and Roma man Koné.
This would mean leaving out several other Serie A representatives who had hoped they would get into the Bleus group travelling to North America.
Marcus Thuram’s younger brother, Juventus midfielder Khephren Thuram, looks to be left at home with his Bianconeri teammate Pierre Kalulu.
Milan’s Youssouf Fofana doesn’t make the cut, nor does his Rossoneri striker Christopher Nkunku.
Mike Maignan, Robin Risser, Brice Samba; Lucas Digne, Malo Gusto, Lucas Hernandez, Theo Hernandez, Ibrahima Konaté, Jules Koundé, William Saliba, Dayot Upamecano; Eduardo Camavinga, N’Golo Kanté, Adrien Rabiot, Aurelien Tchaouameni, Warren Zaire-Emery; Maghnes Akliouche, Bradley Barcola, Rayan Cherki, Ousmane Dembélé, Désiré Doué, Randal Kolo Muani, Kylian Mbappé, Michael Olise, Marcus Thuram
