Dusan Vlahovic will be a free agent from July 1, and while talks with Juventus for a new contract continue, it’s reported he was offered to Atletico Madrid by an intermediary.
The striker has let the situation drag on until the end of the season, in agreement with his club, and could therefore walk away for nothing in the summer.
According to Calciomercato com, the negotiations for an extension have hit problems, because he is asking for €8m per season and Juve are proposing at best €6m.
That is half the current wages he earns in Turin, as his previous contract was signed at a very different time for the Turin giants.
There is no shortage of other clubs ready to snap up the Serbian striker, including Milan, Bayern Munich, Barcelona and Arsenal.
The latest side to be mentioned is Atletico Madrid, with suggestions that a transfer intermediary contacted the Spanish side to propose Vlahovic as a free agent.
Another issue stopping him signing on with Juventus is that his entourage would want a big commission to organise the deal, something they would certainly get by shopping him around to other teams.
