REVEALED: Why ‘Tito’ is finding his form
Orlando Pirates coach Abdeslam Ouaddou has expressed his delight at Patrick Maswanganyi regaining his top form at a pivotal point in the season.
Orlando Pirates coach Abdeslam Ouaddou has welcomed the return of Patrick Maswanganyi to his best form at a crucial juncture of the season.
Maswanganyi was in his element as Pirates beat Magesi FC 3-0 during a Betway Premiership match played at Peter Mokaba Stadium on Saturday. ‘Tito’, as he is lovingly referred to, opened the score sheet before Kamogelo Sebelebele and Oswin Appollis put additional nails in the coffin.

This was his second goal in succession after also netting in against Stellenbosch FC down in Cape Town last Tuesday.
Ouaddou says the Tembisa-born star is now executing his duties in the number 10 role to perfection.
“Fantastic for him, fantastic for the club. When you play in that position, this is what we expect from him. I am very proud of him. I think he is trying now to find his feet,” shared the lanky tactician.
“The intensity we're asking for, especially at the beginning of the season, might have been a bit high considering the way I want the team to play. But now, he understands it. He knows exactly what the expectations are, especially in the position he's playing.”
“He can score; he can deliver assists. He is free in that area, and he helps the team in the control of the ball a lot, especially in the heart of the game.
