The Sharks have announced another contract coup, with Vincent Tshituka putting pen to paper on a new deal that ties him to the Durban franchise until 2029.

The extension is a significant piece of business for the Sharks.

Tshituka has been a fixture in the Sharks pack since crossing the Jukskei from the Lions, growing from a highly rated prospect into one of the franchise's most consistent and influential performers.

Able to fill any of the back-row positions, Tshituka offers excellent physicality and work rate and is a player the coaching staff were understandably desperate to retain.

His performances in the Sharks jersey earned him international recognition.

Tshituka first wore the green and gold against the Barbarians in Cape Town before going on to earn his first Test cap against Italy at Loftus Versfeld Stadium in 2025.
