Chelsea defender Landon Emenalo has been named in the latest England Young Lions squad announced by The Football Association on Thursday.
England U18 manager Ben Futcher has selected a 23-player squad for a training camp in Cyprus, where the Young Lions will face Greece and Cyprus later this month, with Emenalo included in the group.
Landon is the son of former Super Eagles left-back Michael Emenalo, who featured at the 1994 FIFA World Cup as cover for the injured Benedict Iroha.
Born in Arizona 18 years ago, Landon is eligible to represent England, the United States and Nigeria through his father, although he is currently provisionally cap-tied to England.
Emenalo made his competitive debut for the Young Lions in a European U17 Championship qualifier against Malta in October 2024.
Should he decide to represent Nigeria or the United States in the future, he would be required to apply for a change of sporting nationality.
During the 2025–26 season, he featured for Chelsea's youth teams in the Premier League 2, U18 Premier League, FA Youth Cup, UEFA Youth League, Premier League International Cup and EFL Trophy.
He was also named on the first-team bench for the Premier League fixture against Liverpool and the UEFA Champions League clash versus Pafos.
Arsenal midfielder Ifeoluwa Ibrahim and Chelsea striker Chizaram Ezenwata have also been included in the England U18 squad for their May internationals.
