Tolon A emerged as champions of the Soyalana Community Gala after a convincing 2-0 victory over Nyankpala B in the grand finale of the competition on Sunday at the Tolon AstroTurf.Two quick first-half goals within the opening 15 minutes proved decisive as Tolon A dominated the early stages of the match and held on comfortably to secure the title.The tournament, which lasted four months, brought together 16 communities in a celebration of grassroots football, unity and talent development within the constituency.The final game attracted several influential personalities in Ghana football, including the RFA Chairman for Northern Region, Alhaji Alhassan Abubakar (Rhyzo), President of Dreams FC, Jiji Mohammed Alifoe, Ghana U20 head coach Maxwell Konadu, Chairman of the National Juvenile Committee, JoeSalam Abubakar, U15 Boys head coach, Fatawu Salifu and U16 assistant coach and former U17 world champion, Awudu Issaka.For their reward, Tolon A Community were presented with a giant trophy, gold medals and a cash amount of twenty thousand Ghana Cedis (20,000).

Nyankpala B were given Fifteen Thousand Ghana Cedis (15,000) for finishing as runners-up, while the 3rd placed side got Ten Thousand Ghana Cedis (10,000).As part of efforts to motivate and reward excellence, the best player, best goalkeeper, and goal king were each presented with a brand new motorbike, while the best coach and the most promising player were given an undisclosed amount of money.The Soyalana Community Gala was organised by the Member of Parliament for Tolon Constituency, Hon.

Habib Iddrisu, to promote unity, discover young talents and strengthen community engagement through football.The successful competition has been widely praised for creating an avenue for young footballers to showcase their abilities while fostering camaraderie among the participating communities.
