A source close to the whole situation has revealed to Soccer Laduma that Siyabonga Mtombeni has attracted interest from Casric Stars, University of Pretoria, and Highbury FC.
"These teams have already enquired about Siya (Mthombeni). They are teams that have played against him, and they know what he is capable of doing. At the moment, there is nothing much I can say as it will all depend on which team agrees terms with the player, as his contract with Upington City is coming to an end now. So, he will be a free agent and is free to join a team of his choice. But as I have told you, these three teams are the ones who have shown interest in him," the source told Soccer Laduma.

The former Baroka FC and Jomo Cosmos striker was recently voted Nedbank Cup man of the match during Upington City's loss to Betway Premiership outfit Durban City FC.
The 24-year-old Middleburg-born striker has played for other clubs like Jomo Cosmos and Baroka FC.
