WATCH | Pollock tries to wind up Leicester giant… it doesn’t go to plan
Henry Pollock’s attempted mind games backfire during Northampton Saints’ defeat to Leicester, as Hanro Liebenberg holds his ground in a fiery Premiership clash.
There’s no doubt that Henry Pollock is a talented rugby player, but it seems he gets all the headlines for the wrong reasons.
Starting on the bench for Northampton Saints in their 41-17 loss to Leicester Tigers in the English Premiership on Saturday, Pollock made an appearance in the second half, and with hooker Craig Wright in the sin bin, Pollock was tasked with throwing the ball into the lineout for the Saints.

His first throw was too long, and the second wasn’t straight. Pollock then decided to try to ruffle a few feathers and picked out South African Hanro Liebenberg, Leicester’s 6-foot-6 giant, as his target as well as Ollie Chessum.
What followed was lots of prancing, dancing, and mostly retreating from Pollock as Liebenberg stood his ground, and then came a warning for good measure from the referee.
KickOff Rugby's advice for Pollock? Perhaps he should just focus on the game.
