Glamour Boys youngster Mfundo "Obrigado" Vilakazi produced more than just a goal on Sunday evening; he delivered a heartfelt tribute at the Peter Mokaba Stadium as Amakhosi secured a crucial victory and booked their place in next season's CAF Confederation Cup.
With the pressure mounting in a tense Betway Premiership clash against Sekhukhune United, Chiefs found their breakthrough late in the game when Tashreeq Morris fired home in the 86th minute to hand the Glamour Boys a vital lead.
But the night's most touching moment arrived deep into stoppage time. After Glody Lilepo was brought down inside the box, Vilakazi stepped up confidently and buried the penalty to seal a 2-0 win for Amakhosi — his third league goal of the season. Yet it was his celebration that truly stole the spotlight.
The teenage star immediately performed teammate Mduduzi Shabalala’s trademark leg-lift celebration before holding up Shabalala's number 7 jersey in an emotional show of support for his close friend and fellow rising star.

The gesture came just days after Shabalala suffered a crushing season-ending injury during Chiefs' heated 1-1 draw against Mamelodi Sundowns last week.
The attacking midfielder was stretchered off late in the first half following a heavy challenge from Jayden Adams and rushed to hospital, where scans later confirmed a fracture to his right humerus — the bone located between the shoulder and elbow.
In an official statement, Kaizer Chiefs confirmed that Shabalala, who has undergone surgery, is expected to spend between five and six weeks recovering, effectively ruling him out for the remainder of the campaign.
Despite the setback, the 21-year-old has continued receiving strong support from within the Amakhosi camp, with teammates and club staff reportedly visiting him regularly ahead of Sunday's decisive victory.
