Moroccan coach Hussein Ammouta has reportedly agreed to all terms set by Al Ahly’s management to become the Egyptian club’s next head coach, succeeding Danish manager Jess Thorup.
According to informed sources speaking to Hesport, Ammouta demonstrated significant flexibility during negotiations and has fully approved the sporting and financial project proposed by the club’s officials. A final decision regarding the appointment is expected within the coming days.
While Al Ahly’s management continues to evaluate all available options before making an official announcement, Ammouta is currently the only candidate who has fully accepted the club’s conditions. The Moroccan tactician is highly regarded within Al Ahly due to his extensive continental experience and distinguished coaching record with various clubs and Arab national teams.
Previously, Moroccan club Wydad AC had attempted to sign Ammouta in March, but negotiations between the two parties were ultimately unsuccessful.
