The Soweto giants enjoyed a remarkable 2025/26 campaign, marked by winning a first league title in 14 years and completing a domestic treble.
They secured the likes of Oswin Appollis, Tshepo Moremi, Sihle Nduli, and Yanela Mbuthuma at the beginning of the season.

Two own goals by Orbit College FC at Mbombela Stadium on Saturday led Bucs to a comfortable 2-0 win.
"First and foremost, I have to give credit to the team for helping me, and for the club for signing me at the beginning of the season, I just wanna thank the board. Thank you to the coach for believing in me. It's a collective effort and we did it together," Appollis told SuperSport TV straight after the match.
"We can't forget our fans. They've been tough on us, but it helped until today, and we managed to be champions.

"We knew that we had an advantage. We were a little disappointed in our draw last week, but we know that we are good enough to overcome and score goals. That's what the boys did today.
"I think they signed 11 new players, our goal was to win the league. Thank you to the board who signed us. What can I say?
"I'm just happy to be a champion," he added.
The former Polokwane City star has featured heavily in Footballer of the Season conversations after a stellar first season at The Buccaneers.
