Brandon Thomas-Asante has expressed gratitude for the global support Ghana continue to receive as the Black Stars prepare for the 2026 FIFA World Cup in Cardiff.
The Coventry City forward said the encouragement from fans means a great deal to the squad ahead of Tuesdays friendly against Wales at Dragon Park.
He stressed that the team fully understands the expectations of Ghanaians and the responsibility of representing the nation.
"I know that there are a lot of people in Ghana and all around the world who are really wishing us well. So we want to go and make them proud.
"I understand how much it means, and it means so much to me personally. We're happy to work for you guys, and we want to make you proud. Honestly, we hear the support and we appreciate it. We understand how big an opportunity it is and what it means, and we're going to do everything to put the country back where we should be on the football map."
Ghana trained with twenty-two players on Thursday, with Lawrence Ati-Zigi, Kamal Deen Sulemana, Abdul Mumin, Kwasi Sibo, Jonas Adjetey and Prince Kwabena Adu all involved.
The camp has brought together a competitive squad as preparations continue for the World Cup in North America, where Ghana will face Panama, Croatia and England in Group L.
Thomas-Asante, who enjoyed a successful season with Coventry that ended in Premier League promotion, said the team is motivated by the belief shown by supporters.
