Nigeria international Chiamaka Nnadozie has been named in the Women's Super League Team of the Season unveiled by WhoScored.com on Monday, following an outstanding debut campaign with Brighton & Hove Albion Women.
The Super Falcons goalkeeper, who joined Brighton from Paris FC last summer, registered six clean sheets as the Seagulls secured a seventh-place finish in the league standings.
The Team of the Season is dominated by Manchester City Women, who have six representatives — Kerstin Casparij, Alex Greenwood, Vivianne Miedema, Kerolin, Lauren Hemp and Khadija Shaw.
The remaining spots were filled by Millie Bright, Lynn Wilms, Mariona Caldentey and Alessia Russo.
Arsenal have two players included in the selection, while Brighton, Aston Villa and Chelsea Women contributed one player each.
Nnadozie earned her place in the side after recording an average rating of 6.87 across 19 WSL appearances during the recently concluded campaign.
The 25-year-old goalkeeper prevented an average of 3.7 goals per game, made 44 saves from inside the box and 18 from outside the area, while conceding 21 goals.
Nnadozie will now set her sights on winning her first piece of silverware with Brighton when they face Manchester City in the Women's FA Cup final at Wembley on May 31.
