Chelsea Made The Right Choice To Appoint Alonso –Hato

Chelsea defender Jorrel Hato has expressed his excitement regarding Xabi Alonso’s appointment as the new Blues’ manager.

Following Chelsea’s 2-1 win against Tottenham, Hato, in a chat with the club’s website, stated that he can’t wait to work under Alonso.

He also said that the club made the right decision to appoint Alonso as manager.

“I think Chelsea made a good decision to get Xabi Alonso. I’m excited, I knew him as a player and watched him growing up at Liverpool and Real Madrid,” he said.

“He did very well at Leverkusen too, and they became champions, and he was at Madrid. He’s a big name, so I’m very excited.

“I’ve played in a back three and a back four, for me I don’t care about where I want to play. I just want to play.”

Xabi Alonso was officially appointed as the new Chelsea manager on a four-year contract.

His arrival is seen as a major move by the club following the departure of previous coaching staff.
