Baroka FC striker's coach Reason Chiloane says there is a serious crisis among strikers in South African football.
"In football, there are no shortcuts; to score goals, you need to have the right people," Chiloane told KickOff after being asked about his unsuccessful stint at Baroka.

"There was nothing in the Baroka's strike force; I know the striker's position very well. There are players you can try to work with, but here the situation was hopeless. Some players you just can't get the best out of.
"Sometimes, you need to be born with it. You can see even in the Betway Premiership we are struggling; our current PSL top scorer is not even dangerous. Iqraam Rayners is the only striker challenging him; the rest are midfielders.
"If you are a deadly striker, then all teams will be looking to sign you. To be a good striker, you need to love scoring. In my career, I don't remember any coach teaching me how to score. I learned by watching European strikers and how they finished. Today, strikers are fortunate to have people like me coming to teach them how it's done.

"To be able to deal with opposition goalkeepers, you need to know everything about their behavior. In the Betway, I see Golden Boot being won with 13 goals. And if you look at Junior Dion, he isn't that talented. He is just fortunate they are playing him in all the games because they rely on him."
Regarding his future at Baroka, Chiloane said he has a meeting scheduled with club chairman Khurishi Mphahlele, where his future will be discussed.
