Cape Town City chairman John Comitis believes the team will be a real threat in this season's promotion/relegation play-offs after getting a taste of three-team tournament last campaign.
The Citizens were relegated to the Motsepe Foundation Championship last season after failing to win last season's play-offs, with Orbit College gaining promotion.

In an exclusive interview with Soccer Laduma, Comitis said that now that they have experience of the playoffs the opponents they will face will have rough time.
"We definitely got a lot of experience from that first playoffs we played. We got caught out there very quickly," Comitis said.
"It was first time for us, so I think what we've learnt from those play-offs is going to serve us well for the preparation. And I think the team has finally come together, you know, so the timing is good and I think whoever's going to play against us, they've got a rough time."
The chairman further stated that they have a good mixture of youngsters and experienced players going into the playoffs.

"We've got four or five players under the age of 20 in the starting line-up, so that shows about the future, but we have to keep balancing it with experienced players, especially in the play-offs. The pressure mounts and we need to have a balanced team for the playoffs," Comitis observed.
City and Milford FC have qualified for the play-offs, with the final play-off team set to be confirmed on Saturday when the Betway Premiership campaign concludes.
