While nothing has been confirmed, the timing is no coincidence.
“They have already been planning for the CAF Confederation Cup participation, and they are looking at big strikers who can help them in Africa - and that's why they have enquired about Sis Monica,” a source close to the club revealed to the Siya crew.
“He is currently back with Sekhukhune United in their pre-season training. So, it's they who will make the decision on the player if any team is interested in him.”
City's reported pursuit of Mlotshwa suggests the club's recruitment team has been doing their homework because last season's numbers were impossible to ignore.
On loan at Lerumo Lions, Sister Monica was arguably the standout performer in his position, racking up an impressive 18-goal contributions, six goals and 12 assists, a return that would turn heads at any level.
