Decision made: Rangers to Discover Transfer Fate of 'Key Player' Next Week
Rangers are hoping to land a 'key player' this summer…

The Gers lost a manager and found a new one just as quickly, with now former Hearts boss Derek McInnes stepping into the Ibrox hotseat in a move that will excite the blue part of Glasgow.
That came after Rangers had snapped up Hearts' star striker Lawrence Shankland, and it looks like that move will be one of many made this summer as McInnes looks to put his own stamp on his new squad. And beyond that, there is a clear gap for Rangers to make up after a disappointing end to last season that exposed a lack of quality in key areas.
Rangers are now said to be working on taking loan star Mikey Moore back to Ibrox for next season. Moore spent last season on loan from Tottenham and put together an impressive spell. The 18-year-old scored seven and assisted four in 47 appearances across all competitions, and his performances won him the Scottish Premiership Young Player of the Season award.
The Gers now want the winger back for another season, and TeamTalk report that Tottenham have already decided that the youngster will spend next season out on loan again. Spurs are on a mission to overhaul their squad this summer, spending big money, so Moore is not going to feature regularly in North London.
Which team Moore joins is not decided yet, though, and it's reported Tottenham will make a decision next week. Rangers have their hat in the ring, but clubs from the Championship and elsewhere are also said to be hoping to land Moore. The player himself may be keen on a return given his success at Ibrox, but it will come down to whether Spurs feel a return is best for his development, or whether they feel a different kind of test will be of more use.
Now former Rangers boss Danny Rohl praised Moore towards the end of last season, saying: "We had a difficult start to the season and Mikey responded well. He kept his head down and continued working hard.
"You can see his performances on the pitch; it is credit to him. Players can go under or go missing after the start we had, but he has taken everything on his shoulders and is pushing himself as a player. Mikey is a key player for us. He has improved a lot, but there are still things to work on. We have players behind him waiting for chances and opportunities."
