Finnish giants HJK have announced the signing of Nigerian youngster David Temidayo Olorunfemi, Completesports.com reports.
The Klubi signed Olorunfemi from Tripple 44 Football Academy in Nigeria.
The 19-year-old penned a contract until the end of the 2027 season with an option to extend by a further year.
Olorunfemi arrived in Finland last weekend and has been training at the club’s training ground.
The striker is already looking forward to enjoying a successful spell at the club.
” It feels great to come here, this is a great opportunity for me. Striving towards domestic success and Euro competitions is exactly the kind of challenge I have been looking for. I can’t wait to help the team as best I can” he told club’s official website.

HJK fought off competition from clubs in Sweden and Denmark to secure the signature of the promising young forward.
” We had been watching David for a long time. He’s really good at protecting the ball and an excellent finisher, and these qualities have been very visible since his first practice here,”stated HJK’s sports director Petri Vuorinen.
“He has adapted extremely well in Finland in a few days and he is passionate about being able to play.”
Olorunfemi is the latest player to rise through the ranks at Tripple 44, joining a growing list of talents now making their mark in Europe, including Ibrahim Adewale and Emmanuel Godwin, among others.
HJK is considered Finland’s most successful club with 33 league titles.They have also won 14 Finnish Cups, and six League Cups.
