Dynamo Dresden midfielder Kofi Amoako is “very interested” in the possibility of a move to Leeds United this summer, sources have told Football Insider.

The Whites are impressed by the 21-year-old’s performances in the 2. Bundesliga this season, and are prepared to offer him the chance to move to the Premier League in the coming months.

That is understood to be of huge appeal to the starlet, despite the fact that sources say there is also strong interest in his services from clubs elsewhere in Germany.

Daniel Farke and Co. are aware that it will not be easy for them to get a deal for Amoako over the line, but the 49ers are primed and ready to ensure they can nail down their key transfer targets ahead of next term.

Leeds’ transfer plans are set to place focus on their need to strengthen across the board, as they look to consolidate their place in the top flight once again next term.

Amoako has been a shining light for Dynamo Dresden in their battle against relegation to the German third tier this term, as he has quickly become a key player after signing from VfL Osnabruck last summer.

The starlet has excelled during his first season in the second tier, and has failed to start in just five league games for Thomas Stamm’s side so far in 2025-26.

The former Germany U19 international has taken on plenty of responsibility in the middle of the park, and his performances have attracted attention from bigger clubs ahead of the window opening again.

Leeds are among those vying for his signature at the moment, given that they view Amoako as a player who has huge potential to develop in the future.

The youngster has predominantly played at the base of the midfield in a 4-2-3-1 formation this term, but is also capable of operating in a more advanced midfield role.

His quality has impressed the Leeds scouts in recent months, and they are now working to try to offer the player his dream move ahead of next season.

Football Insider revealed on Monday that Leeds are keen to sign Wilson Isidor from Sunderland this summer, amid recent suggestions that he could be on his way out of the Stadium of Light.

The striker was subject to plenty of interest in the January window, but the Black Cats were reluctant to lose him and weaken their options in the middle of the campaign.

Isidor has fallen down the pecking order for Regis Le Bris after a bright start in the Premier League, and he could now be moved on as a result.

Leeds are among a number of clubs who are weighing up a move to take the Haiti international, as they are keen to add further goalscoring potential to their attack, alongside Dominic Calvert-Lewin.

Everton are also in the race for the 25-year-old, who has five Premier League goals to his name this term.
