One of South African football's most legendary exports, Sibusiso Zuma, received a hero's welcome in the Danish capital on Saturday as FC Copenhagen paid tribute to one of the most unforgettable moments in the club's history during their final home game of the season.

The Danish giants wrapped up their campaign in style with a commanding 5-0 victory over Randers FC at a packed Parken Stadium. Still, the occasion also belonged just as much to the man affectionately known as "Rhee" in South Africa and "Zuma the Puma" among Copenhagen supporters.

More than two decades after his legendary bicycle kick against fierce rivals Brøndby IF secured the Danish league title in 2001, Zuma returned to his old stomping ground to celebrate the enduring legacy of a goal that still echoes through Scandinavian football folklore.

The acrobatic strike has long transcended the history of football in Denmark. Immortalised with a statue outside Parken Stadium, the wonder goal was voted the Danish Superliga's Goal of the Decade in 2009 and, four years later, supporters crowned it the greatest moment in FC Copenhagen history.

The nostalgia-filled celebrations came just days after adidas and FC Copenhagen unveiled a special lifestyle collaboration marking 25 years since Zuma's iconic strike. The cosy collection includes a striking "Zuma 25th Anniversary" tracksuit featuring an illustration of the KwaZulu-Natal-born baller executing his trademark bicycle kick.

Saturday's tributes extended beyond the pitch. Before kick-off, supporters packed the club's fan store for a meet-and-greet and signing session with Zuma, who spent time interacting with fans and promoting the commemorative merchandise collection.

Inside the stadium, the atmosphere turned emotional as the Parken faithful unveiled a massive TIFO depicting Zuma mid-air in his iconic bicycle kick pose — a fitting salute to a player whose magic moment remains woven into the fabric of Copenhagen's football culture.
