Ntsabeleng's signing came as a surprise, after he arrived on loan from Major League Soccer (MLS) outfit FC Dallas ahead of the 2025/26 season.

The 28-year-old was expected to take some time before settling into a star-studded Sundowns team after spending six years in America.
The Stars of Africa's former academy star appeared to have been signed with the future in mind, for the number ten position, as Themba Zwane was injured and at 36, his contract is also up for renewal at the end of the campaign.
Ntsabeleng's numbers did not look great in the two seasons at Dallas before coming to Sundowns, after scoring one goal, with one assist in the 2023/24 season.
The Daveyton-born midfielder had an underwhelming 2024/24 campaign in the MLS, featuring only in league 13 games, without scoring and having only one assist, after he played mostly off the bench.
With Sundowns having to make a decision on whether to sign Ntsabeleng permanently, the statistics are showing a slight improvement compared to the midfielder's last two seasons at his parent club.
The man who has featured in the Kaizer Chiefs reserves before has scored two goals and registered one assist for Masandawana in his 11 league matches.
Ntsabeleng has played 14 games in all competitions, with a total of three goals and one assist, which presents his best return since turning professional, even though he has played fewer matches at The Brazilians.

The signs are there that the 28-year-old has the potential to improve his game and uplift his career at the Tshwane giants, with his relative effectiveness in a competitive environment.
But it's up to the powers that be at Sundowns to decide on his future.
