HOT RUMOUR: Pirates close in on this PSL star

KickOff can reveal that, according to sources, Orlando Pirates have reached out to Polokwane City in a bid to finalise a deal with one of their players who is also a Bafana Bafana international.

Pirates are reported to have submitted a concrete offer for Thabang Matuludi, with a deal likely to be finalised before the end of the season.

The defender is also understood to be on the wanted list of both Kaizer Chiefs and Mamelodi Sundowns.

The Brazilians tried to beat the past transfer window period for the services of the 27-year-old.

However, their offer was tuned by Rise and Shine.

Bucs and Polokwane City are now believed to be close in finding each other regarding the player switching across to the Soweto giants’ camp.

"Negotiations are now at an advanced stage. Matuludi is expected to be a Pirates player next season," said a source.
