Inter are targeting around €90 million in player sales this summer through the exits of Davide Frattesi, Luis Henrique and Aleksandar Stankovic, which combined with Oaktree’s expected budget contribution of at least €45 million would give the club a total transfer war chest of approximately €135-140 million.
According to the Corriere dello Sport, Frattesi’s departure is the least surprising of the three.
The midfielder has reached the end of his time with the Nerazzurri and will seek a new challenge elsewhere, with the club valuing him at around €30 million despite a quiet final season.
That figure mirrors the sum Bournemouth offered for Luis Henrique in January, a bid the Scudetto winners rejected at the time due to a lack of alternatives. Therefore, the reports claim the club would be comfortable accepting a similar offer for the Brazilian this summer.
The most intriguing name on the list is Aleksandar Stankovic.
The Nerazzurri will exercise their option to re-purchase the player from Club Brugge for €23 million, though the net balance sheet impact is closer to €13 million given the €10 million already received, but his stay in Milan is far from guaranteed.
Brentford have already made contact, and Inter expect further Premier League clubs to follow.
The club value him at €40 million and the decision divides opinion internally, with some insisting he should be kept regardless of offers, while others would accept a sale only if the funds were reinvested in a high-quality replacement.
