An Orlando Pirates legend says it would be the most heartbreaking moment in the club's 89-year history if they fail to secure the Betway Premiership title this weekend.
The Buccaneers are second on the log and need a to win against relegation-threatened Orbit College FC at Mbombela Stadium to end a 14-year league title drought.

Failing which, it would arguably be one of the most heartbreaking scenarios in the country's football history. Orbit are in 14th place, making them desperate and a tad dangerous.
For the Ghost, losing the title on the last day of the season after a grueling 30-match campaign would create agonizing trauma reminiscent of Kaizer Chiefs losing to Baroka FC on the final day of 2019/20.
"Pirates must play the game like any normal game. They must play the game, not thinking about the title, then we are going to win," Alfred ‘Shakes’ Gwabeni tells KickOff.
"We must not play the Orbit game obsessed with trying to rectify what happened in the Durban City FC game last weekend. Let's go there to enjoy the game.
"Orbit are prepared to beat us, so we shouldn't rush to score a goal. In the Durban City game, the boys put themselves under a lot of pressure.
"For Pirates, failing to get three points tomorrow would be very painful.

“It will be sad for the club's supporters and former players like me. That's where the havoc will start. We will start blaming the coach, then the players. It would be the saddest moment in the club's history."
Kick-Off at Mbombela Stadium is at 15:00, and the game is sold out.
