La Gazzetta dello Sport names 11 uncapped players who are likely to be part of the Italy squad for June friendlies against Luxembourg and Greece.
Italy are sadly preparing for the June friendlies against Luxembourg and Greece, both of which will be played away from home.
Gazzetta already reported that interim coach Silvio Baldini would rest many of the Azzurri stars, except captain Gigio Donnarumma.
According to the latest report, the Manchester City star has made himself available to Baldini by phone, confirming that he is ready to lead the team in the upcoming matches.
Gazzetta names a few uncapped players who are expected to be part of the Azzurri squad next month.
Among them are Matteo Ruggeri (Atletico Madrid) and Davide Bartesaghi (Milan). Ruggeri has already received one call-up to the Italy squad but has yet to make his debut.
Other potential debutants in defence include Michael Kayode (Brentford), Pietro Comuzzo (Fiorentina), Fabio Chiarodia (Borussia Monchengladbach), Filippo Mane (Borussia Dortmund) and Honest Ahanor (Atalanta).
There will be some young players with international experience, such as Samuele Ricci (Milan) and Francesco Pio Esposito (Inter).
In central midfield, Cesare Casadei (Torino) could make his senior Azzurri debut, and the same is true of Cher Ndour (Fiorentina) and Luca Lipani (Sassuolo).
As for the attack, Burnley-owned Luca Koleosho, now on loan at Paris FC, is set to be called up to the senior team for the first time.
