Kruger United have expressed confidence in their promotion to the Betway Premiership, often referred to as the "land of milk and honey," despite complaints from Black Leopards regarding the Premier Soccer League.
Kruger United remains the official 2026 Motsepe Foundation Championship winners, having secured automatic promotion. The legal complaint lodged by Black Leopards does not directly target Kruger United, and therefore, their status as champions remains unaffected.

Black Leopards has approached the South African Football Association (SAFA) arbitration, claiming that the Premier Soccer League acted prematurely by enforcing a transfer ban before FIFA had formally confirmed the sanction.
The Limpopo club contends that because the PSL withdrew their players registration cards, they were compelled to play four critical matches with an incomplete squad and under duress.
Lidoda Duvha is seeking an order to have their matches against Casric Stars, University of Pretoria FC, Lerumo Lions, and Leicesterford City replayed.
"I believe this matter pertains solely to the PSL and Black Leopards; it does not concern Kruger United," stated club chairperson Bongani Wati in an interview with KickOff.
He further clarified, "I am unsure which four fixtures are being referred to, but we are not involved in those matches. It has no bearing on us. Our focus remains on Sunday, when the PSL plans to present us with the Motsepe Foundation Championship trophy. I will not comment on Black Leopards or the situation surrounding them."
On Sunday, Kruger United is scheduled to face their Mpumalanga rivals, The Bees FC, at Kanyamazane Stadium in their final match of the season.
