A qualified FUNDACIN LALIGA instructor delivered a course for 30 coaches using the socio-sports methodology Values to Win, a key pillar of the Foundations projects both in Spain and around the world.
This methodology combines sport with personal development, teamwork, and technical training to support educational processes that positively impact the projects coaches, who will later pass on their knowledge to directly benefit the girls participating in the initiative. In addition, over the weekend, the six-week league-format competition officially kicked off, featuring around 100 players from the U-13 and U-16 categories representing five clubs from Ghanas capital and nearby areas.
All participants received their team kits and will also benefit from support for their weekly training sessions. As part of this special launch, a session of the Mini Stars program was also held, introducing up to 50 girls under the age of 12 to football through inclusive sessions focused on togetherness and fun.
Aintzane Encinas, former Real Sociedad professional player and current trustee of FUNDACIN LALIGA, inaugurated this section with a socio-sports clinic that concluded with friendly matches between the participating communities.La Ligue dgalit Ghana is much more than football.
