"The atmosphere was fantastic. It was absolutely crazy," Links told KSDH.DK, reacting to the triumph over Viborg on Sunday.
"We knew a little bit about what was going to happen today and we didn't want to disappoint the fans here for the last game of the season because we knew you would come in massive numbers, so I'm just happy that we went out and delivered a good performance.
Links also got to meet the head of Denmark’s royal family, King Frederik, after the game.
He said: "I got a little goosebumps when he came in, because we weren't expecting it. So, it was cool, and I'm glad to have met him."
Elsewhere, it still remains to be seen whether Links’ impressive season in Europe will earn him a place in Bafana Bafana’s squad for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
