Former coach of Kabelo Kgositsile at Baroka FC, Dan Malesela, has provided some insightful analysis of the new Orlando Pirates speedy winger.
Kgositsile will join his new Pirates teammates when they report for the 2026/2027 pre-season camp toward the end of June.

Kgositsile's style of play is expected to fit seamlessly at Orlando Pirates. The highly rated 21-year-old has signed a long-term deal from Baroka FC, and his specific attributes perfectly match the dynamic, winger-heavy tactical approach used at Mayfair.
Nicknamed "GTi" and "CaraCara" because of his explosive speed, Kgositsile excels at stretching defenses.
"For him to succeed at Pirates it depends on him, and it also depends on how quickly the coaches will understand him," Malesela tells KickOff.
"He likes being independent when he plays. Sometimes he makes mistakes because he hasn't listened to coaching. Hence I say it depends on him.
"So as long as he listens to the coaching and the coaches understand him, I think he will succeed. Sometimes he listens, sometimes he does his own thing. When he does his own thing, that's when he begins to make mistakes.

"But at Orlando Pirates, I think there is a bit of freedom; you can see it in how players like Oswin Appolis and Relebohile Mofokeng are playing.
"So whether Kgositsile will have a bright future at Orlando Pirates depends on him. One of the worst things that can happen to a player is when they stop being humble and become big-headed after joining a big club. It depends on how he adjusts to this sudden elevation."
