Man United face paying extra £10m for Crysencio Summerville after 'brilliant' display - view

West Ham winger Crysencio Summerville was electric for the Netherlands on Saturday as they saw off Sweden 5-1 to put one foot into the World Cup round of 32.

The 24-year-old capped off the scoring with a stunning strike from the edge of the box, after Brian Brobbey and Cody Gakpo had both scored doubles.

Anthony Elanga got one back for Graham Potter's side in the second half, but it was too little, too late for the Swedes, who will now learn their fate next week.

Summerville is expected to leave West Ham this summer with Manchester United among the sides interested in a potential move.

The Hammers were reportedly asking for £50million for the former Leeds United forward, but that fee may well have grown significantly in recent days.

Summerville also found the net against Japan last week, and looks set to start the final group game against Tunisia.

Football Insider exclusively revealed this week that West Ham could be forced into selling Summerville amid their financial issues.

Man United and several other interested sides are keen to take advantage of the situation at the London Stadium, but the winger's performances on the grandest stage are not helping their cause.

The 24-year-old's display on Saturday is bound to interest more potential suitors, who will only drive the price up.

Summerville looked immediately dangerous after coming at the break against Sweden, and played a part in Gakpo's first goal after his superb turn had created space for Denzel

The winger then broke forward to play in the Liverpool man for his second goal, before Summerville found the net himself.

The Dutchman picked up the ball and charged towards goal once more, this time finding the bottom corner with a lovely strike.

Incredibly, Summerville only made his senior debut for the Netherlands earlier this month, and was a surprise inclusion in Ronald Koeman's World Cup squad.

The West Ham winger has been a revelation since, and has four direct goal contributions in just four caps.

Speaking to BBC 5 Live on Saturday, Chris Sutton said: "Crysencio Summerville looks sharp as anything!

"On at half-time and he's had a massive impact. It's such a clever, composed finish. His brilliant dancing feet create the situation."
