Reports in Italy claim that Liverpool’s Curtis Jones remains on Inter’s radar, especially since the English midfielder wants to leave Anfield in the summer, but the Nerazzurri’s priority midfield target remains Roma’s Manu Koné.
Inter have already started planning for next season after winning a domestic double, and club directors met coach Cristian Chivu on Tuesday.
According to Corriere dello Sport and Tuttosport, one of Inter’s primary targets remains Roma’s Koné, who was already approached by the Nerazzurri last summer.
Roma might be forced to make a big sale before June 30 to comply with the Financial Fair Play, and Koné remains the first name on Inter’s shopping list.
The fresh Serie A champions are aware that the Giallorossi might demand from €40m to €50m for the France international, but Roma boss Gian Piero Gasperini has already admitted that Koné might leave the capital after two years.
Both Corriere dello Sport and Tuttosport claim that Inter are also monitoring Liverpool’s Jones.
The English midfielder’s contract at Anfield expires in June 2027, but he’s pushing to leave due to his strained relationship with Slot, according to Tuttosport.
Inter have been in contact with his entourage since last January, and the 25-year-old remains one of the targets for the fresh Serie A winners.
