Morgan Rogers may have just sent a hidden message amid source's Arsenal move update

Aston Villa star Morgan Rogers has been the subject of significant transfer talk in recent days and he appears to have responded.

Premier League champions Arsenal are thought to be the club with the strongest interest, as they look to consolidate their position as champions going into next season.

The 23-year-old is currently at the World Cup with England, and is set to play a part in Tuesday's game against Ghana.

The timing could well be an innocuous coincidence, but it could also be a message signalling his reaction to the day's reports.

Rogers came off the bench and almost registered an assist in England's World Cup opening win against Croatia last week.

The midfielder appears to have emerged as Thomas Tuchel's 13th man, and he can expect to play a significant part in the remainder of the tournament.
