Rossoverde, a supporters’ group of Morocco’s national football team, has raised concerns over difficulties faced by fans trying to travel to the United States for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

In a statement, the group said Moroccan supporters have long been a key strength of the national team, known for their strong presence both at home and abroad. However, it said many fans have been unable to attend the tournament due to a range of obstacles.

Rossoverde identified ticket distribution as the primary issue. It said access to match tickets was tied to travel packages offered through a partnership between the Royal Moroccan Football Federation and Royal Air Maroc, a system the group described as unfair to supporters who had already arranged independent travel and accommodation.

According to the statement, many Moroccans living abroad, as well as fans traveling from Morocco, were unable to secure tickets despite having completed their travel plans, leading to widespread disappointment.

The group also cited visa-related challenges, saying several active members of supporters’ groups were unable to obtain U.S. entry visas despite meeting the required conditions. It warned that their absence could affect the organization and coordination of fans inside stadiums.

Rossoverde called on supporters who will attend the matches to continue projecting a positive image of Moroccan fans through respectful behavior and organized support.

It also urged Moroccan fans in the United States to rally behind the national team and assist organized supporter groups present in the stands.
