Napoli could steal Sorloth away from Juventus as Bianconeri try again for Vlahovic

Juventus have reportedly offered one last contract proposal to Dusan Vlahovic and have reopened talks with PSG over a potential deal for Randal Kolo Muani, but this could open up the path for Napoli to pinch one of the Old Lady’s other attacking targets, Alexander Sorloth, according to Sunday’s reports.

Juventus are desperately looking for solutions at centre-forward as Vlahovic is just over a week away from walking away from the club at the end of his contract, which expires on June 30.

The Bianconeri have tried and failed on several occasions to get the Serbian to commit to a new contract, but reports on Saturday claimed that one last offer for a one-year contract at €8m per season in wages has been tabled.

Meanwhile, Friday’s reports claimed that Juventus have re-established contact with PSG over a potential deal for 2025 loanee Kolo Muani, who will return to Paris after a loan spell in the Premier League with Tottenham Hotspur.

Juventus had also been linked with a potential move for Atletico Madrid’s Sorloth, but according to the latest updates on Sunday, the Norway international is an increasingly strong target for Massimiliano Allegri and Napoli as well.

According to TMW, Sorloth is not just an ‘idea’ for Napoli, but an increasingly strong prospect. Sunday’s report claims that signing Sorloth would not have a major impact on Rasmus Hojlund’s role with the club, but that his arrival would push Romelu Lukaku into leaving Napoli.

Reports earlier this month claimed that Atletico were seeking a fee of €40m from Juventus for Sorloth, and it is expected that the same fee will be cited to Napoli.
