Bafana Bafana defender Siyabonga Ngezana will face a fresh challenge ahead of the upcoming season, with his club set to work under a new manager following the appointment of a head coach.
FCSB have confirmed the appointment of Marius Baciu as their new coach, who is succeeding South African-Cypriot tactician Elias Charalambous, who parted ways with the club in March.

The Red and Blues were led by caretaker coach Lucian Filip in the closing stages of the 2025/26 campaign, with Ngezana missing most matches due to injury.
With Baciu now taking the reins, the 28-year-old former Kaizer Chiefs defender will have a new coach to impress should he remain at FCSB next season.
Ngezana's current contract is set to expire in June 2027, although reports suggest he has extended his stay by a further year, potentially keeping him at the Romanian giants until June 2028.
FCSB confirmed Baciu's appointment on Tuesday in an official statement.
"Welcome, Marius Baciu! FCSB announces that, starting Tuesday, May 19, Marius Baciu is the new head coach of our team," the club stated.
"The former captain of Steaua, in whose shirt he won three league titles, two Romanian Cups and two Romanian Super Cups, will work with a technical staff consisting of Lucian Filip, Alin Stoica, Marius Popa, Ionuț Zottu and Horea Codorean, who will be joined by Sorin Bucuroaia and Alexandru Ioniță.
